nearly every moment of this documentary journey has been on my own, except for when i traveled with the migrant family on the migrant route to the united states, and also a few instances over the years where fellow photographers have joined me for brief instances to document the journey.
i’m always grateful when there is someone that can tag along as it adds to the veracity of the footage that is captured. it’s also always gratifying to have someone with you when something incredible happens and you can turn to them and say, “can you believe what we just captured?”
and if you’d like to join me on a future excursion, visit the contact me page for more information.
I thank anyone who has joined me over the years for your help, our shared laughs, sorrow and shock, and for any behind the scenes images you’ve taken.
please note that any video or images you see on this site are all images taken by me except for the bts images of me.
Some of these bts images are from a few of those who’ve joined me, while many of the rest are selfies done by my cellphone, drone, or using the timer on my camera.
it’s important to capture ourselves for our own memories when we undertake such a project. and i cherish the behind the scenes images as they take me back to the places where they were captured over the span of many years with this border documentary project.
